My 21mo daughter loves this toy! She can turn the pages, play songs, or just play musical notes. Barney sings and talks to her & she loves it. Each page plays a different song, but in order to hear the song, she must press the correct one of 3 buttons. This toy has provided hours of endless entertainment in the back seat of the car. She knows which songs are on what pages now. When I ask her to play "Itsy Bitsy" she turns to the page, presses the musical note button, and thanks to mommy play time & Barney videos, she mimicks the hand movements! This is a fun, interactive toy for any child who loves music, books & Barney.

We got this toy after our 15 month old could not put it down in the store (and we almost never buy her "impulse" things like this -- she would NOT let it go). That was about 2 months ago and she still plays with this toy every day! Although Mom and Dad get a little tired of the songs, it's not too loud and she LOVES this toy. We don't watch a lot of Barney, but this toy has convinced us maybe we should watch more! She loves listening to the music and playing with it in the mode where she can play a line or two of the song at the time! She enjoyes the sound effects and playing notes also, but mostly she loves to clap and dance to the music. She has learned (with the help of her older brother) the hand motions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and loves showing this off to everyone! The other songs are fun too and she enjoys turning the pages of her "book." Best of all, after being dropped from the sofa, high chair, and shelf, this toy just plays on and on! I'd highly recommend it for your budding music lover or Barney fan!

My daughter is 27 months old and a huge Barney fan. She loves to
sing his songs.
With this song book, she's able to select which
song she wants, whenever she wants....and sing to her heart's content, freeing up Mom from having to log into the Barney website to play the songs... over and over again (as all 2 year olds want!) It's her favorite toy....and mine. :)

Great Toy Nov 07, 2003
I purchased this for my 12 month old for her birthday. She loves music so this was perfect. She loves to dance to the music. She is just figuring out that when you push the bottom buttons it makes different sounds during the song....it is so cute she looks back me and laughs. Very cute toy for little hands.

We bought this for my son when he was one. He is now 2 and a half and he still loves it as much as he did then. It keeps him entertained for hours.
