If your child loves Buzz Lightyear, then this is the one. He has the REAL colors, the REAL pop-out wings, the REAL voice from the movie, and all the gadgets that came with the original Buzz from the movie. Super toy!!!

My son wouldn't put this toy down for a week! Nov 02, 2005

My 2 year old son loves the movie Toy Story. His friend had the Buzz Lightyear toy and when he was at his house that's all he played with. He would even ask to go to his house to play w/ Buzz Lightyear. So we bought the toy. He did not put this toy down for at least a week! He ran around the house saying, "Buzz Lightyear flies!" The action figure does a variety of movements. The only annoying thing is that the wings are constantly falling off & I have to constantly put them back on. I believe the box says this is so they won't break, but I don't see what would have been the harm for them to be permantly fixed on. Oh well, hopefully they won't get lost. I also wonder why the toy doesn't say, "To infinity and beyond!" That being said, this is a very fun toy and I highly recommend it for your Buzz Lightyear fan.

My three year old son loves Toy Story, and is thrilled with his new Buzz Lightyear toy. He loves the retractable helmet, the pop-out wings, and the voice that sounds like the Buzz in the movie. My husband and I love that the voice isn't too loud, so it doesn't drive us crazy when he plays with it! The big problem with this toy, as others have mentioned, is the wings. It's too bad that the manufactorers couldn't have found a way to make the wings stay on without breaking. We are constantly replacing them for our son, who gets frustrated when they snap off. Overall, though, we're very please with the toy, and we're glad we have it.

My son recieved this toy for his 3rd birthday. He absolutly loved it, and couldn't wait to show Woody. He did not play rough with him at all.. in fact he never even dropped it.. 2 days after the party I picked up Buzz so I could sit down and noticed his laser button had fallen down into the arm, no way to fix it. And the 3 buttons on front have a short in them as sometimes Buzz says all his phrases at once.. though I think it bothers me more than my son. I asked him "If Buzz quits working all together will you still love him." to which he replied "yes!!" and gave him a big hug. Also I have had no problem with the wings, like the others, but he leaves them out most of the time.

I purchsed mine directly from the Disney store, but it's the same one. One of the hands snapped off when my son dropped it in a praking lot (he's 3, so it didn't fall far!). I haven't had any problems with the wings comming off like some of the other reviewers. I also bought the woody and buzz rc cars, and one of the front wheels of the buzz racer snapped off as well. My son is not destructive or violent with his toys; it seems that the quality of plastic that they are using nowadays is cheap. I'm sending mine back for new ones.
