Grandson's long lost favorite Dec 18, 2008

My grandson has been playing with his dad's and uncle's original Star Wars characters for several years. We have been trying to replace the long-lost Greedo, with no luck. I was excited to find it here, and I am sure he will be when he opens it Christmas morning. Now the action can begin in earnest! Good quality, original style. What could be better?

A big step for Greedo Sep 09, 2010

I remember when I was younger the original Greedo. The jacket was stuck to the figure and Greedo had bulging muscles and a huge chest - exactly the opposite of his low-life character in the movies. This version is a vast improvement. Greedo is tall and lanky, just like he's supposed to be. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the felt jack - I'd have preferred plastic, because the original jacket looks more like a synthetic material rather than fur. Nonetheless, a great figure.

I purchased this figure (and the other four Vintage figures) in order to get the mail-in George Lucas as Stormtrooper figure. The figures look great. But my one complaint is that, in order to get the proof-of-purchsase needed for the mail-in form, you have to cut open the protective case. I wish that there had been another way to do this.
