By Cleopatra I bought this toy for $7 and so far happy with it. My baby is only 14 months but she likes to dance together with Barney. It is not a long entertaiment but something different for a change.

Sing with me Barney is ok, it sings 3 songs and my 2 year old loves it. But Barney does starts to talk when no one is playing with it. It gets a little scary when you hear voices coming from your childs room.

My son(2 years old) loves Barney so we thought this toy would be perfect, but the newness and excitment wore off quickly. He got it for Christmas and even now hardly plays with it. It an OK toy, but not worth the money in my opinion.

I purchased Barney for my 2 year old daughter while the toy was a hit the first 2 days my daughter lost interest. The biggest malfunction of the toy is that you have to manually turn it off after each use. Barney has often woke the entire family up in the middle of the night with a song and of course nobody has touched the toy for days. The funny part about this story is that I have a 16 year old who also loved Barney when he was a toddler and he received a talking Barney doll that did the exact same thing. I would think after 16 years this problem would have been corrected.
