If the kid you are buying this for is big on details, skip this one. Its longer than actual nemo, and the luck fin lacks alot of details. The entire plush was un satisfactory to me, even the stripes are not correct, let alone the material. I will find another for my nephew.

A solid little stuffed animal. My kid loves it. Two things to be aware: 1) The quoted size includes the floppy tailfin so don't expect a large fish (about the size of a cluster of socks). 2) This critter is tightly packed. It is not 'mushy' (about the consistency of a sock filled with a number of other socks).

There is a review here an Amazon.com that talks about this product not being accurate. Well we can quarrel over the details and I agree its not perfect (Nemo's special fin is not as small as it needs to be), but my daughter is a HUGE Nemo movie fan and she goes everywhere with her Nemo doll. I can't pry it from her and she is always hugging it.
Clearly there isnt much educational value since its from a movie. It has helped teach her about fish and the color orange, but that's about it.
However, can't we let our kids have a little fun?

We had to buy two of these, one for each daughter. Nemo has to be present and accounted for before bed every night or there is no sleeping in our house. For our one year old Nemo has to go everywhere while our three year old is content to allow Nemo to stay in bed. If your little ones love the movie they are going to be obsessed with this plush toy.
