My 3 year old daughter loves this. After she saw that heffalumps are nice (she was afraid of them before) in Pooh's Heffalump move, she couldn't stop talking about them. This is good quality and just the right size (and soft).

My future sister-in-law came to visit one day with her daughter who was soon turning 2. She mentioned I should google "Heffalump," and said that's what I should get the little one.
Ok, whatever, so I found it here on Amazon and it came to my door within the week. I opened the packaging, just to see what this 'heffalump' thing is, and was STUNNED with how incredibly soft and smooshey this thing is. I have no idea what they made this little guy out of, but I almost bought another just for myself because of how soothing it was to touch this little plush elephant, not to mention just how gosh darn adorable it is.
And the thing is, even with it being so soft and smooshey, the stitches and craftsmanship of it is solid. This toy will be around for many years to come.

This was an instant hit with the child. She didn't let go of it for days after she received it. It shows no sign of wear, even after the dog thought it was great too.

The kids received their Lumpys as Santa gifts and loved them very much. They play and sleep with them all the time now. Thank you so much for the fast shipment.

I purchased this toy as a stand-in to the original Lumpy that my daughter received as a gift for her birth in April 2010. I was surprised that I had located another Lumpy! It's useful to have another when the one Lumpy needs to be washed, or accidentally gets left at Grandma's house. This is a really wonderful toy. It's so soft and silky. My daughter loves to rub the soft ears on her cheeks and chin while falling asleep. It's also very durable as it has gone through the wash a handful of times already. I'm assuming that eventually it will show its wear because our original Lumpy's fur is already matted. It looks loved. The only downside is that the Lumpy here is smaller than the original Lumpy. It's not a whole lot smaller, but noticeably smaller (I guess about 20% smaller). I'm mostly ok with that as long as my daughter can't tell the difference and both are very good sizes for hugging while sleeping or toddling.
