My daughter is 9 years old and loves Pokemon. She requested a Pikachu for her birthday. I was very pleased with its condition and size upon recieving it. My daughter went ecstatic upon opening it and has not put it down since. It was the hit of the party and all the kids were asking where they could get one. Its little cheeks light up when it says the many different things that pikachu says. When it does thundershock attack it vibrates. I am definitely glad we purchased this pikachu because I see her getting a lot of good years of use from it.

My five year old son in fascinated by Pokemon and enjoys playing with this toy. It's performs as advertised, is cute, and not as loud as I expected.

I couldn't care less about Pokemon. I've only seen one or two of the cartoons. However, this Pikachu is the most adorable thing since...the Cocacola polar bears. Press one hand and he goes into "thundershock attack mode" (i.e. he says Pikachu 'violently') press the other hand (the buddy mode hand) and he alternates between about 15 different 'Pikachu' noises. Most are adorable. He never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Thunderbolt Pikachu was very well received by my 4-year old grandson. He loves Pokemon characters and had only a tiny stuffed Pikachu before he got this new one. The size is great for him and he loves all the talking and shaking. We replaced the original battery that came in the toy after the first day, but with new batteries he's been going non-stop for over a week!

the only problem we had with this is when we received it, it had batteries in it already - and they were corroded. we were worried that it wouldn't work but it did. my nephew loves this and sleeps with it. it is very cute and soft.
